Tech CU Debuts Innovative Branch Design in Fremont
New location provides interactive technology with an enhanced member experience.
San Jose, CA (June 2, 2015) — Tech CU (Technology Credit Union) opened a new branch yesterday, relocated from its former Hugo Terrace location in Fremont to the heart of the city’s Pacific Commons shopping center. The branch is adjacent to Target and near Costco, Century Theaters and other popular stores and restaurants, offering a convenient location with plenty of parking.
Fremont is the first of several branch changes Tech CU has planned for 2015, as part of its strategy to continue providing the highest level of service to its members. The new design and layout will include interactive technology to help members learn about personal finance on their own terms, and a floor plan designed to facilitate one-on-one conversations — everything from consultative discussions to quick exchanges.
“Our members continue to want personalized attention — to be a name, not a number,” said Debra Bowman, senior vice president of Retail Banking for Tech CU. “Yet, they are also looking for great digital banking solutions that give convenient access to our products and services and help them make smarter financial decisions. This new branch design makes both possible.”
Tech CU will also open a new branch in San Francisco in July, on Mission between 10th and 11th, located in the mid-Market area among such technology giants as Twitter and Square. Bowman said to watch for similar innovative changes in Sunnyvale and San Jose later this year.
The Fremont branch will be holding a “Welcome Week” celebration from June 1 through June 5, during regular business hours. The public is invited to come into the branch to see the new design and meet the Fremont team.
