Fraud Protection Services
Transactions are regularly monitored and analyzed using a fraud management solution powered by FICO® Falcon. Each transaction is assigned a rating based on your normal spending patterns. If questionable activity is detected, you are contacted to verify the transaction. In some cases, the transaction may be declined at the point of purchase if the fraud rating is high.
Card Member Security monitors both signature-based and PIN-based transactions on Tech CU Debit and Credit Cards, 24/7.
Do Tech CU members have to enroll?
No. Falcon monitors all Tech CU credit and debit cards for fraudulent activity. No enrollment is required.
Is there a fee?
No. All Tech CU credit and debit cards are covered by this service at no cost to the cardholder.
While Card Member Security uses the latest in fraud management protection, you should still contact a Tech CU representative if you suspect that your Tech CU Debit or Credit Card may have been compromised.
Do I need to confirm my contact information?
To ensure we can reach you promptly if fraudulent activity is suspected, please make sure we have your current contact information on file including phone number(s) and address. You can update your contact information in Online Banking by clicking on the Profile link in the top right. Contact us if you have any changes in this information.
