Scoring Big for the Bay Area: Tech CU Supports the Sharks Foundation

At Tech CU, we've always believed that investing in people is the foundation of a thriving community. Through our partnership with Sharks Sports & Entertainment and the Sharks Foundation, that belief takes shape in programs like Goals for Kids and Cuda Classroom, which are initiatives designed to open doors for Bay Area youth and families who need it most.

Goals for Kids

We’re proud to serve as a presenting sponsor of Goals for Kids, where every goal scored on the ice creates real impact off the ice.

For every San Jose Sharks goal scored during the regular season, $1,000 is donated to Bay Area nonprofits aligned with the Sharks Foundation's mission of empowering youth through education and wellness programs, while advancing equitable access to hockey for all.

This season alone, the program helped raise $251,000 for nonprofits: Access Books Bay Area, Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, KABOOM!, One Step Beyond, Inc., and Sunnyvale Community Services. Since 2014, Goals for Kids has donated more than $2.8 million to organizations across the Bay Area.

Cuda Classroom

We’re also proud to support the Cuda Classroom program, where learning meets hockey in the coolest way possible.

Through hands-on experiences like The Science of Ice, elementary and middle school students build financial literacy skills while exploring the world of hockey. It’s education that sticks (pun intended), because it’s fun and interactive.
