Lace-up your sneakers and mark your calendars for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Silicon Valley. Tech CU is proud to sponsor the walk on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and we invite you to join us in supporting the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's, and nearly 13 million family members and friends provide unpaid care for those affected by the disease. Between 2000 and 2024, deaths from Alzheimer's more than doubled, highlighting the urgent need for continued research, care and support. In California alone, more than 700,000 individuals age 65 or older are living with the devastating disease. That number is expected to surpass 1 million by 2030.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome, with the option to choose either a 1-mile or 3-mile route. Every registered participant will also receive a Promise Garden flower representing their personal connection to the cause, creating a powerful display of hope, remembrance and support.

There is no registration fee to participate. However, participants are encouraged to make a personal donation and commit to raising funds in the fight against Alzheimer's. All funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer's further the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
