Making Holiday Wishes Come True: Tech CU Joins the Family Giving Tree Drive

The holiday season is nearly here, and Tech CU is proud to once again partner with the Family Giving Tree for their annual Holiday Wish Drive, a tradition that brings joy to Bay Area children, adults, and seniors by fulfilling their holiday gift wishes.

For many in our community, the holidays can be a challenging time. Despite Silicon Valley’s immense wealth, the region still experiences one of the highest poverty rates in the nation. The Family Giving Tree works tirelessly to bridge this gap, ensuring that everyone, regardless of circumstance, can experience the simple joy of receiving a gift chosen just for them.

Through their Virtual Giving Tree (VGT) and in-person drives, Family Giving Tree collects and fulfills specific holiday wishes from individuals across the Bay Area. Each wish represents more than just a present; it’s a reminder that someone cares.

You can join us in making holiday wishes come true:

• Donate: Your generous contributions help purchase gifts for children, adults transitioning from homelessness, and seniors who might otherwise go without.
• Lead a Drive: Rally your friends, coworkers, or community group to collect physical gifts and spread cheer through in-person giving, or online, through the Family Giving Tree’s Virtual Giving Tree platform.
• Volunteer: Support the effort by sorting, wrapping, and preparing gifts for distribution. Every helping hand makes a difference.
