Second Harvest of Silicon Valley: Investing In Our Community By Feeding Families in Need
Today’s stubbornly high prices, economic pressures, and decreased government support are causing record numbers of people to seek food assistance. Anyone who needs a healthy meal should be able to get one. That is why Tech CU is a proud supporter of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, an organization dedicated to making sure we all have access to the most basic need: food.
Second Harvest serves an average of 500,000 people every month — the same number as at the height of the pandemic. Free food from Second Harvest helps clients make room for unexpected expenses and the possibilities that open up when basic needs are met.

This year, through the donations of our employees and members, Tech CU provided 116,000 meals to help local families. Since 1991, Tech CU has helped provide more than 341,000 meals through Second Harvest. We look forward to supporting Second Harvest of Silicon Valley for many years to come.
