Join Tech CU for a Night of Art, Food, and Fun at the Morgan Autism Center’s Starry Starry Night Eve
Join Tech CU on Saturday, May 6 at 5 pm PT for the Morgan Autism Center’s largest fundraiser of the year - Starry Starry Night. The event celebrates the unique students and clients served at Morgan Autism Center by spotlighting the singularly beautiful artwork created by these individuals. Attendees enjoy a delicious dinner, fine wines, entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a raffle. This year’s invitation artwork, “Van Gogh’s Sunflowers,” was created by Room 8 students.
All proceeds will go towards Morgan Autism Center’s unique programming and their Fund-a-Need. Their Fund-a-Need this year is kitchen and outdoor improvements that will add accessibility features and enriched programming capability to the Morgan Autism Center’s student and adult farm-to-table gardening program. Based on a tailored curriculum, the program provides numerous opportunities for practical, physical, and mental enrichment, including:
- An outlet for important sensory regulation and relaxation
- Hands-on learning of important responsibility-based skills
- Outdoor exercise
- Exposure to new foods
- Collaboration with peers and the community
- Experience planning and executing a multi-part project
- Functional skills training, including supervised food prep and cooking
- Conceptual demonstration of plant life cycles and how seasons play a role
- Healthier diet options
- An understanding of the importance of nutritious foods and how they impact our bodies
- An overall healthy lifestyle
Your support fosters the nurturing, joyful, and enriched environment for which the Morgan Autism Center is well-known.
Event Details
The event will take place on Saturday, May 6 at 5 pm PT at the Crowne Plaza Palo Alto located at 4290 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306.

Upon purchasing tickets, you will be asked to select your preferred meal. This year’s meal choices include:
- Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Garlic Mash, Thyme Jus
- Chicken Marsala, Wild Mushroom Marsala Sauce, Mascarpone Polenta
- Eggplant Caponata (Vegan), Grilled Asparagus, Portobello Mushrooms
For added convenience, you will also be given the option to purchase raffle tickets in advance. Simply pick your preferred prizes, and show up to enjoy your wine, mingle and participate in all the pre-dinner fun.
