TECH CU CALL OF THE FIN SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. SWEEPSTAKES TIMING
The TechCUCall ofthe Fin Sweepstakes (The “Sweepstakes”) begins at 11:59PM Pacific Time (“PT”) on September 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (“PT”) on March 20, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Tech CU (the “Sponsor”) is the official “timekeeper” of this Sweepstakes.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to Tech CU members who are legal residents of California and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of Entry. Employees of Technology Credit Union and their agents, immediate family members, and cohabitants are not eligible for the Sweepstakes.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Online or in a branch, enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes period by applying for and being approved for a new Sharks co-branded Visa Signature or Classic credit card, the approval and receipt of which is subject to membership eligibility, credit eligibility, and Tech CU’s policies.
Limit one (1) Entry per account holder for the entire Sweepstakes period, regardless of the number of accounts or products held. The person who qualifies for the co-branded Visa Signature or Classic credit card will be deemed the entrant (“Entrant”) and is the person to whom the Prize will be awarded if selected through a drawing as a “Winner.”
4. RANDOM DRAWINGS
Potential Winners will be determined in separate random drawings conducted by Tech CU on or about the following dates, from among all eligible entries:
- 10/16/2025
- 11/6/2025
- 2/12/2026
- 3/5/2026
- 3/19/2026
- 3/21/2026
5. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Potential Winners will be contacted via their email address and/or phone number in Tech CU’s records. The potential Winners will be required to sign and return an Unconditional & Full General Release, Waiver, and Indemnification Agreement on behalf of themselves and any minor guests (except where prohibited by law) within seventy-two (72) hours of notification or potential Winner will be disqualified. If a potential Winner fails to return the required verification documents within the required time frame, said potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner will be selected, time permitting.
6. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)
Six (6) total Prizes: Each consisting of two (2) admission tickets to attend a Sponsor-selected Sharks game (“Game”) at SAP Center plus one of the following experiences, each taking place on the following dates:
- 10/30/2025 Zamboni Ride
- 11/20/2025 High Five Tunnel
- 2/26/2026 Zamboni Ride
- 3/19/2026 Penalty Box
- 4/2/2026 Zamboni Ride
- 4/4/2026 High Five Tunnel
Each Winner is responsible for arranging any necessary travel or hotel accommodations. ARV: $200 per Prize. Limit one (1) Prize per account holder.
All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes on the actual value of the Prizes are each Winner’s sole responsibility. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 MISC to any Winner for whom Sponsor is required to file an information return under applicable law.
In the event a Winner cannot attend the Game, Winner will be disqualified and the Prize will be awarded to an alternate Winner, time permitting. In the event that a Winner or their guest engage in behavior that (as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to annoy, abuse, or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to eject them from the Game, with no further compensation to the Winner. If a Prize or portion thereof becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsor may substitute the Prize with one of comparable or greater value. Game tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied toward tickets for any subsequent event or for cash. The resale of Sharks tickets is strictly prohibited.
7. GENERAL RULES
By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules which are a part of, and incorporated into, the Consumer Membership Account Agreements and Disclosures (“Member Handbook”). All Prize details not specified in the Official Rules will be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Entrants, Winners, and guests agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor from and against any claims, damages, or liability resulting from damages, losses, or injuries to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates these Official Rules; or, during the Game, acts in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted and to select the Winners from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes period.
By accepting a Prize, Winner gives Sponsor permission to use Winner’s name, Entry, pictures, and likenesses for promotional purposes in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
Waiver and Release: As a condition of receiving and participating in any Prize experience delivered at or by Sharks Sports & Entertainment or its affiliates, each Winner (and guest, if applicable) must complete, sign, and return any venue or team waivers, releases, or similar documents required by Sponsor or Sharks Sports & Entertainment, including without limitation the Unconditional and Full General Release, Waiver & Indemnification Agreement, by the deadline specified in the notification. Failure to timely sign and return required documents will result in forfeiture of the Prize, without compensation, and an alternate Winner may be selected, time permitting.
8. TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Terms of Use and any other ticket terms and conditions are available (or will be made available) on nhl.com/sharks/tickets. Rules governing SAP Center safety, security and conduct, set out in the SAP Arena Code of Conduct, the Terms of Use and all other applicable Terms and Conditions are available on nhl.com/sharks/fans/code-of-conduct. SSE reserves the right to cancel any ticket to the event, deny entry to, or remove, any attendee from the venue. Seating will be designated by Sponsor.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes regarding the Sweepstakes shall be resolved in accordance with the Member Handbook, including the agreement to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis.
10. NO WAIVER
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
11. SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR
The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Technology Credit Union, 2010 N First St, San Jose, CA 95131. Sharks Sports & Entertainment is not a sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes and is not responsible for the administration, execution, or fulfillment of Prizes.
