Winter Executive Education 4-Day Program Scholarship Competition

Time is running out. Submit your essays by October 31!

An executive from the Tech CU community will win a full scholarship (valued at $8,000) to participate in the winter executive education program at Singularity University.  Engage with the brightest minds from around the world to identify how innovation and technology will resolve some of the most challenging global social issues.

High Tech or business executives, decision-makers, strategists, CEOs, CTOs, small business owners, entrepreneurs, tech visionaries and enthusiasts from Tech CU’s ecosystem (Tech CU members, their family members and friends or member company employees) are eligible to participate.  The winner of the scholarship is determined by the overall score received on his/her essay questions. Tech CU employees are not eligible to apply.

The program will be held from December 9 through December 12, at Singularity University, NASA Ames Moffet Field.

Please fill out the application online. There are two essay questions that must be completed. Judging will take place online on a scale of 1-10 (1-worst; 10-best) for essay responses.

Scores will be calculated by factoring the average of all the judges’ responses.

Judges will be executives from various Silicon Valley companies and organizations. The winner will be announced on November 15. Applications are due by October 31. The winner must be able to attend the full program. If not, the 1st runner up will be offered the scholarship.

Essay Questions

1. In 100 words or less, describe one innovative product or service that would enhance your banking experience to make managing your finances easier.

2. In 500 words or less, please tell us how exponential technologies could revamp the U.S. public school system over the next decade, and how these technologies could change the delivery of education worldwide.
