Important Information about the Home Depot Security Breach
(UPDATED 10/1) We have thoroughly investigated all of our member accounts and issued a new Tech CU debit card and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to members believed to be at risk from the recent Home Depot breach.
- All new debit cards and PINs were sent by mail and received by September 21.
- The new card must be activated immediately via Online Banking at www.techcu.com or by phone via our CheckCard Activation Line. Activation instructions are located on the form attached to the new card.
- To eliminate potential fraud, all impacted old debit cards will be disabled as of October 1. If these cards are used after this time, the transactions will be denied.
Please note: If you have automatic payments set up using your Tech CU debit card, please provide the merchant(s) with the replacement debit card number and expiration date.
