Checking Accounts
Two kinds of Checking Accounts for your evolving financial life. Our Checking Accounts offer free Online and Mobile Banking with access to over 65,000 fee-free ATMs - that's more than Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo combined.
Based on your financial needs, we offer two kinds of Checking Accounts: Basic and Interest Checking.
When it comes to convenience, you’ve made the right choice with a Tech CU Checking Account:
Our Checking Accounts also come with the option of Overdraft Advantage - a discretionary service under which Tech CU may, at our option, advance funds to pay an item presented against a checking account that does not have sufficient available funds cover it. To learn more about checking overdraft payment options and costs, visit our Overdraft Advantage page.

Accounts for those under age 18
If you’re interested in opening up an account for a child, we offer California Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (CUTMA) accounts. These are set up by an adult on behalf of a minor. We also offer a Student Checking Account for those who are ready for more responsibility. Opening up an account for a child is a great way to learn about saving and money management. When your child turns 18, it is your responsibility to transfer the CUTMA funds back to the beneficiary. If your child is under 19, a joint signer over 18 is required.
For more information on CUTMA accounts, call us at (800) 553-0880 or stop by any of our branches.
