  • Switch To Tech CU

    Switching to Tech CU is quick and easy.

    • Live, work, worship, or attend school in Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Santa Cruz County, or San Francisco County.
    • Be an employee of a Tech CU Member Company or a member of an affiliated organization.
    • Be a relative of or reside with a current Tech CU member.

    If you meet any of the above criteria, you are eligible to become a member of Tech CU. There are no fees to join, but you will be required to open a Savings Account with an opening deposit of at least $25 to establish your membership.

    Our Switch Kit contains all the tools you need to move your accounts over to Tech CU:

    • Account Closure Request (PDF) - Once you have opened an account with Tech CU, you can close your current checking account and transfer the balance to Tech CU. Just print our Account Closure Request, fill in the necessary information and mail it to your bank.
    • Direct Deposit Authorization Form (PDF) - After you've opened your Tech CU checking account, give this completed form to your payroll department. It will make establishing direct deposit to your new Tech CU account easy. Remember, the more business you bring to Tech CU, the more rewarding it is with Tech CU. To maximize your benefits at Tech CU, don’t forget to switch over other outstanding balances and set up new automatic payments.
    • Automatic Payment Authorization Form (PDF) Tech CU makes it easy to manage your finances. Please provide this completed form to the companies who make automatic withdrawals from your account each month (i.e. car payments, utilities, health club, etc.).
