We will begin to roll out our new EMV/chip-capable Visa Debit Cards this summer (2016) to Tech CU Members. No action is necessary at this time. This new card will replace your current Tech CU Visa Debit Card once activated.
The new card offers the same great benefits as your current card, with the added security of chip-capable technology.
- Account access - Convenient and uninterrupted access to your account when making merchant purchases, online payments, telephone payments and ATM withdrawals.
- Security - Chip technology creates a unique code for each transaction — reducing the risk of fraudulent charges.
Continue to use your existing Tech CU Visa Debit Card for now. Once your new card arrives, it’s important that you activate it immediately. If the card isn’t activated within 90 days, you’ll need to contact us at (800) 553-0880 or visit one of our branches.
