    The following dividend rates, yields and minimum balances apply to business accounts. Please refer to the Business Member Handbook for additional account information.

    For balances of $50,000 and up, receive a boost rate of 0.10% with a Tech CU Business Interest Checking Account.

    *For balances of $50,000 and up, receive a rate boost of 0.10% with a Business Interest Checking Account and a balance greater than $50,000.00.

    Dividends are calculated daily and paid monthly. Rates are subject to change without notice. *During any statement period, you may not make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another credit union account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephonic order or instruction. If you exceed the transfer limitations set forth above in any statement period, your account may be subject to closure by the credit union or to a fee of $10.00. Non-personal withdrawals in excess of 6 per month may not be paid and a return fee of $28.00 may be assessed per check.

  • Business Checking (Share Draft) Accounts

    $100.00 minimum balance to open a Business Checking Account.

    $0.01 minimum balance required to earn dividends on Business Interest Checking Accounts.

    APY means annual percentage yield. Unless otherwise noted, accounts have variable rates, meaning the rate can change at any time at the discretion of the Tech CU Board of Directors after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings on all account types that earn dividends.

  • Business Liquid Certificate

    Business Liquid Certificates offer members a choice of three short-term certificates (3, 4 and 5-month terms) at a competitive rate while providing easy and flexible access to the Certificate deposit.

    • Minimum Opening balance of $95,000 in “new to Tech CU”** money.
    • Additional money can be deposited at any time during the term.
    • Funds can be withdrawn without penalty six days after certificate opening. However, a minimum of $95,000 must be maintained in the account.
    • One withdrawal per calendar month may be made during the term of the Certificate if it is made six days apart from any previous withdrawal, irrespective of the month in which the withdrawal is being made.

    ** “New-to-Tech CU money” means funds from a source external to Tech CU deposited into a member’s account within 21 days of new Certificate opening. No maximum deposit applies.

    APY is available to Tech CU business members who either (a) deposit and maintain a minimum of $95,000 of “New-to-Tech CU” money into a new Liquid Certificate account, meaning the total deposit must have come from a source external to Tech CU within the twenty-one (21) days preceding the opening of the Certificate or (b) reinvest a minimum of $95,000 from a qualifying maturing business certificate. Rates and terms subject to change without prior notice and may not be combined with other offers. If the Certificate is closed before it matures, dividends will be forfeited. Penalties will be imposed for early withdrawals. See Tech CU’s Business Membership Account Agreements and Disclosures for more details.
