Put your trivia knowledge to the test and join Tech CU at Breakthrough Silicon Valley’s “Are you smarter than a Breakthrough student?” trivia night. The event will also celebrate a year of impact and powerful stories from students and alumni about their academic journeys.

- Test Your Knowledge: Do you have what it takes to outsmart some of the brightest young minds in the Bay Area? Put your trivia skills to the test in a fun and engaging game designed to challenge and entertain.
- Hear Inspiring Stories: Throughout the night, students and alumni will take the stage to share their remarkable journeys to and through college. These personal stories of perseverance, resilience, and success will inspire and remind us of all of the transformative power of education.
By attending this event, you’re doing more than just enjoying a night out and are directly supporting first-generation students as they navigate their path to higher education. Your participation helps provide the tools, resources, and mentorship these students need to thrive in college and beyond.

In addition to sponsoring the trivia event, each year, Tech CU sponsors Breakthroughs college tours. These tours allow Breakthrough Silicon Valley students to visit several colleges and universities. The students meet with Breakthrough alumni at various campuses to learn more about campus life, the transition to college, Educational Opportunity Programs, and securing a dream job or internship.
