Deposit a check without leaving your home - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And, it's completely secure. Simply endorse the back of your check and take a picture with your iPhone®(iOS 8 or newer), iPad®, or Android®(4.1 or newer) phone or tablet. It's as easy as that!
Keep Your Operating System and Applications Up-to-Date
In general, your device's application store will keep you aware of any required application updates. You can also proactively check for updates.
- For an iPhone®or iPad®, use iTunes on your desktop computer or the settings panel on your phone to check for updates.
- For an Android®Phone or tablet device, check your device settings for updates.

Download our Apple IOS or Android applications by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play Store directly.
Tech CU Business Mobile Native App allows you the ability to view account balances, view transaction history, make deposits, transfer funds, wire funds, send electronic payments, place stop payments on checks, view account balance graphs, as well as send and receive secure messages.

Remote Deposit Capture Application is not required to use the mobile service.
Yes.Tech CU Business Mobile Banking is encrypted using the latest Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, which provides the highest level of security available today. Additional security mitigations such as Multi-Factor authentication, certificate pinning, session hijack prevention, replay integrity checks and more provide for a highly secured mobile banking environment. No account information is stored on your phone and account numbers are masked to thwart shoulder surfing. The native application has been certified appSecure by NowSecure, formerly viaForensics.
Your session will remain active while you use Tech CU Business Mobile, however you will be logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
No. There is no limit to the number of devices that can have access to Business Mobile.
You can send secure messages and feedback by clicking on the Messages function within the Business Online Banking App, or please contact our Cash Management Support at (408-441-4752) or visit a branch.
Immediately contact your mobile carrier if your phone is lost or stolen and they will suspend your service.
- Download and apply security updates and patches to your mobile phone when they are made available by Apple (for iPhones/iPad) or Android for all other smart phones running the Android OS. These updates are designed to provide you with protection from known possible security problems.
- Do not "jailbreak" or modify your mobile device as this may disable important security features.
- For mobile devices using the Android Operating System, do not enable Android's "install from unknown sources" feature.
- To prevent viruses or other unwanted problems, do not open attachments from unknown or untrustworthy sources.
- Do not install pirated software or software from unknown sources.
- Limit unauthorized access to your cell phone. Do not leave your mobile phone unattended during an active Mobile Banking session.
- Always remember to log off properly using the "Log Out" option when you have completed your Mobile Banking activities.
- Be aware of the potential for fraudulent Mobile Banking apps.
- Do not add your login credentials to the memo pad or voice record them on your mobile device, as this information could then be obtained by others if your phone is lost or stolen.
- Password protect your mobile device if possible.

Tech CU Business Mobile Deposit allows you the ability to electronically deposit checks from your iPhone®, iPad®, and Android®devices using the Tech CU Business Mobile Native App.

- Unlimited number of deposits: Deposit multiple checks per day. Refer to the Funds Availability Policy in theBusiness Member Handbook
- Simple: Easily and conveniently review images of deposited items directly from your mobile device.
- • Business Mobile Deposit is ideal for depositing approximately 1-5 checks per day. Options for higher volumes are now available using desktop scanning devices.
- Download and register the Tech CU Business Mobile application for your iPhone®, iPad®, or Android®device.
- Log into the Tech CU Business Mobile application and select the "Deposits" button from the Main Menu.
- • Checks deposited must be made payable to your company name. No two-party checks can be deposited via this channel.
- Endorse back of check “For mobile deposit to Tech CU only”.
- Select the account into which you want to deposit the check.
- Enter the amount of your check.
- Capture pictures of the front and back of your check. Remember all four corners must be viewable. Click submit. Avoid using the flash on your mobile phone camera, as it may affect the quality of the image.
- You must be enrolled in Business Online Banking. To get started with Business Mobile Banking, you must firstenrollin Business Online Banking and complete the Mobile Remote Deposit Capture Application.
- Use of the Business Mobile Deposit Service is based on approval, other requirements may apply.
- Mobile Device: Apple®IOS version 8 or newer or Android®OS version 4.1 or newer (1.2 GHZ dual core chip or better; 1 GB or more of RAM)
- Download and register the Tech CU Business mobile application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You will receive an onscreen confirmation indicating that the deposit was completed successfully. You can also log into the web version of Business Online Banking and view a historical record of checks you deposited via the mobile device. Checks deposited during non-business hours will be posted by 9:00am Pacific Time the following business day.
Submitted deposits are subject to review before they are considered final. Refer to the Funds Availability Policy in theBusiness Member Handbook
- Make sure the photo of the check is being taken in the horizontal orientation, not portrait.
- You may have forgotten to endorse your check. Sign it and try again.
- The numbers on the bottom of the check are not visible, or a check signature has expanded into the MICR line encoding and cannot be read properly
- The four corners of the check are not visible
- Poor or bad lighting affected the captured check image. Remember to use a plain black background when taking the images of the check.
- The amount of the check you entered does not match the amount the app read from the picture of the check
Tech CU recommends that you retain a deposited check for 60 days. After this time, you can destroy or shred it. It is very important not to resubmit a check for deposit that has already been accepted via mobile.
