San Jose, CA (June 24, 2008)—Technology Credit Union is proud to announce that its Marketing Department recently received a Bronze award from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) 2008 Annual Awards competition. Tech CU won the award for its television commercial produced in 2007, titled “Entourage”. The 30 second spot was developed as part of the campaign to promote Tech CU’s business services division which focuses on the needs of small businesses. This was the second year in a row in which Tech CU’s team, led by VP of Marketing Kathleen Litman, won a MAC award for its TV commercials. Litman produced the commercial in partnership with Mount Nebo Productions of Los Angeles, Calif.
Founded in 1986, the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) has been recognized as the preferred trade association for credit union marketing professionals in North America. The organization held its Annual MAC Banquet and Awards Ceremony on May 21 – 23, in which it named the 2007 marketing winners, chosen from more than 406 entries in several categories. Tech CU won the Bronze award in the Broadcast and Video category for credit unions with over $500 million in assets.
