Relationship Rewards Program Details

How does Relationship Rewards work?
First introduced in 2005, Relationship Rewards is a program that rewards you for doing business with us. In short, the more you have with Tech CU through your combined deposit, loan, and investment balances, the more benefits you receive. Check our Relationship Rewards chart for details.

On the last day of each month, your account balances are totaled together. This total balance determines your Relationship level: Primary, Preferred, Preferred Plus, or Premier. If your balances increase to an amount that elevates you to a higher level, you will enjoy increased benefits beginning the next statement period. If your balances decrease to an amount that places you in a lower level, your level will not change for at least 30 days.

As an extra advantage, your total credit limit on a Tech CU Home Equity Line of Credit is counted toward your aggregate balance—even if you do not have an outstanding balance on your line!

Each month your Relationship Rewards level will be displayed on your account statement and on your Online Banking account summary page.

Extra Rewards for New Members
New members receive all the benefits listed under the Preferred level for the first three months after membership is opened. Beginning the fourth month, your Tech CU share, loan, and investment accounts will be added together. This aggregate sum will then place your Relationship with Tech CU within the appropriate Relationship level.

Combine Accounts for More Benefits
Combine the balances of all Tech CU members in your household together and possibly enjoy the benefits of a higher Relationship level! If two or more members of your household are Tech CU members, with your consent, we can combine the total balances of all Tech CU members in your household, possibly placing your entire household in a higher Relationship tier.
