Tech CU Donates Baskets of Support to CityTeam Ministries

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 8) As a way of giving back to the community, employees of Technology Credit Union once again joined forces to help those in need. This time, their assistance came in the form of Easter Gift Baskets.

Tech CU Corporate Services purchased two-dozen Easter baskets, which were distributed to Tech CU employees at its Corporate Headquarters a few weeks before Easter. The little containers were quickly gone as Tech CU employees filled and decorated twenty-five baskets. These baskets were donated to CityTeam Ministries of San Jose, along with a monetary donation. CityTeam Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged men, women and children in the Bay Area and nationwide.

While Tech CU’s primary goal is to meet the financial needs of its members, Tech CU’s strong commitment to making the community a better place extends beyond providing affordable financial services. Technology Credit Union’s involvement in the community includes such activities as food and toy drives, and fundraising to benefit various programs and charities. Those benefiting from Tech CU’s activities include CityTeam Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank, Milpitas Unified School district, and others.
