With an honors degree in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, I have been advising clients on their investments since 1985. My roles as Personal Financial Planner at American Express, as well as Financial Advisor and Manager with Bank of America Investment Services have provided me with the experience and knowledge required to help ensure the best possible service to my clients. My approach to financial consulting begins with a sharp focus on the client's needs and goals, so that I may create not only a rational financial/investment plan to achieve those goals, but also to help them stay the course and avoid investment fads and other traps along the way.

My primary focus is to help our members achieve financial independence and a more secure retirement. I also enjoy working with members who seek advice and information on other topics including 401K rollovers and planning for a child's future. I use a select group of financial products and services such as mutual funds, annuities, stocks, bonds, defined portfolios (UIT's) and so on, to create various strategies. Careful consideration is given to tax reduction through the use of tax-free and tax-deferred accounts*. When appropriate, investment portfolios may be designed to take advantage of long term capital gains rates which may be lower than ordinary income tax rates.

To reduce or optimize risk, portfolios are diversified appropriately in accordance with each individual's risk tolerance. As market conditions and personal situations always change, I highly recommend that each client allow for periodic portfolio reviews of their portfolios. I look forward to working with you.
