A Tech CU VISA Check Card is the most versatile shopping tool you will carry. In fact, most members agree that their VISA check card is the card they use more than any other card in their wallets.
Shop online with your check card
Use your Tech CU Visa Check Card for online purchases, too. But, before you do, register with Verified by VISA®, the program that helps prevent unauthorized use of your Visa cards. And when you shop, you just supply your user ID and password to authenticate your purchases. It's easy and secure.

- Use your VISA check card for all your purchases, instead of writing a check. Because the VISA check card carries the VISA logo, it can be used in place of a check for purchases wherever VISA is accepted, worldwide.
- The check card is NOT a credit card, there is no monthly bill to pay. Your purchase is debited directly from your Checking account automatically.
- Use it as an ATM card to withdraw cash, make deposits and loan payments, to obtain mini-statements, and to perform account transfers.
- The VISA check card can also be used for purchases at any Point of Sale (POS) location, such as gas stations and grocery stores.

How to get yours
To instantly receive a Tech CU Check Card, simply visit any of our financial centers and request one. Or call a Member Services Representative at 408-451-9111 or 800-553-0880 during regular business hours to have one sent to you.
You may also order your check card via Online Banking. When you order a check card via the telephone or Online Banking you will receive your card in 7 to 10 business days.
A Tech CU checking account is required to secure a check card. If you do not currently have a checking account with us, you may open one via Online Banking, or by calling a Member Services Representative. You are also welcome to stop by any of our financial centers.
