eStatements
eStatements are electronic versions of your paper statements - offered in pdf (Acrobat) format. You can view eStatements for any Tech CU account or loan that receives paper statements (except credit cards). Plus, you can access eStatements as far back as 1993 or when you first opened your account (whichever is later).
General FAQ’s
How do I benefit from opting in to receive eStatements and Electronic Disclosures?
- It’s absolutely FREE to all members
- Electronic Notices arrive faster than by mail
- Eliminates paper clutter and saves trees
- Reduces the chances of becoming a victim of fraud/identity theft (minimizes the risk of paper statements getting lost or stolen while being sent through the mail.)
What if I want to receive both electronic and paper statements?
At this time, you will only be allowed the opportunity to receive either one of the two options. You may however change your preference at any time.
What if I want to change my delivery preference?
If you would like to switch from electronic to paper, you must notify Tech CU in writing at 2010 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131—Attn: Member Services.
If you would like to switch from paper notices to electronic, you can log in to online banking and select the ‘Manage Services’ tab, then eStatements. You can also visit any Financial Center to complete a form, or write to us at 2010 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131—Attn: Member Services.
Will I still be able to view my eStatement through online banking if I have not opted in?
If you have not yet opted to receive eStatements and Electronic Disclosures, you will not be able to view your eStatements online until you opt in.
If I opt in, how will I receive my eStatements and/or Electronic Disclosures?
For Member statements, Home Equity Line of Credit statements and Line of Credit Statements, you will receive a secure email notification letting you know that your statement is available for viewing within the online banking platform.
For notification of Tech CU’s Privacy Policy, you will also receive a secure email notification that includes the links to Tech CU’s current Privacy Policy on the web. This notification will automatically be sent to you on an annual basis.
